I’m dedicated to educating and empowering athletes on how to eat to support training and performance, helping athletes build a healthy relationship and understanding of food from a young age, and making sure coaches and players together understand the power of proper nutrition.

Current OFFERINGS

+ Hydration Testing and Talks – This 20-Minute Hydration Talk with empower athletes to focus on hydration for optimal performance. Alayna will also perform a Sweat Test during practice with each athlete, and each athlete will walk away with a personal hydration strategy to keep themselves hydrated during intense summer heat and training.

+ Team Talks – Topics including but not limited to Fueling for Your Sport, Fueling the Endurance Athlete, Fueling the Female Athlete, Healthy Fueling for Body and Mind, A Runner’s Guide to Nutrition.

+ On-Field 3-Part Nutrition Education Series – Designed to empower athletes right on the field or court. Each 30-minute session educates athletes on how to remain at the top of their game, discuss strategies and examples of how to implement nutrition strategies, includes an interactive activity, and provides a practical take-home idea.

+ Speaker Presentations for Large Groups – Topics including but not limited to Fueling the Endurance Athlete, Fueling the Female Athlete, Healthy Fueling for Body and Mind, A Runner’s Guide to Nutrition, and more.

On-Field 3-Part Education Series

Calling all teams! Our 3-Part On-Field Education Series is designed to empower athletes right on the field or court. Each of the three 30-minute session educates athletes on how to remain at the top of their game, discuss strategies and examples of how to implement nutrition strategies, includes an interactive activity, and provides a practical take-home idea.

Talk #1: Hydration 

Did You Know: Dehydration is the #1 nutrition-related cause of decreased performance. Studies show that nearly 50% of athletes step onto the field already dehydrated, meaning your performance is already compromised before the game or practice even starts. Learn about the impact of dehydration on your body and performance, how to assess your hydration status, and strategies to stay hydrated during training and games. Take home actionable strategies for continued hydration success!

Talk #2: Performance Nutrition  

What have you heard recently about carbohydrates on social media or in the mainstream news? News flash! Carbohydrates are an athlete’s number one source of energy for peak performance. This talk will cover all the ins and outs of strategically using carbohydrates to optimize your performance.

Talk #3: Recovery Nutrition

It’s crucial to support your body with proper nutrition and rest for effective recovery. With key pointers on the top nutrition recovery strategies as a starting point, this session will also go beyond nutrition to explore additional pillars of recovery, ensuring you feel rejuvenated and ready to perform at your best training the next day.
